It received mostly positive critical reviews, with praise for its casting, directing, cinematography, and acting. The creators had ideas for two more seasons, but the show was cancelled in January 2023.

Based upon the Blockbuster brand, the series stars Randall Park as Timmy, the manager in a fictionalized version of the last Blockbuster Video store, set in Grandville, Michigan. The series premiered on Netflix on November 3, 2022. In December 2022, the series was canceled after one season.

Based on "Onari's Lullaby" by Emi Tsutsumi, and inspired by various Japanese folklore, the series tells a story of Onari, who sets on a path of becoming one of the folklore heroes, protecting her peaceful village from the mysterious oni. Produced by Tonko House and animated by Megalis VFX and Dwarf Studios, the series premiered on October 21, 2022.

My Father's Dragon
My Father's Dragon is a 2022 2D-animated fantasy adventure film directed by Nora Twomey with a screenplay by Meg LeFauve who co-wrote the story with John Morgan. It is based on the 1948 children's novel of the same name by Ruth Stiles Gannett. The film is also dedicated to Morgan who had since died. It stars the voices of Jacob Tremblay, Gaten Matarazzo, Golshifteh Farahani, Dianne Wiest, Rita Moreno, Chris O'Dowd, Judy Greer, Alan Cumming, Yara Shahidi, Jackie Earle Haley, with Whoopi Goldberg, and Ian McShane.

The Midnight Club is an American horror mystery-thriller streaming television series created by Mike Flanagan and Leah Fong, with Flanagan serving as showrunner, lead writer and executive producer. The series is set in a hospice and follows eight terminally ill young adults who form "the Midnight Club", meeting up each night to tell each other scary tales; it features an overarching story while also frequently depicting those tales on-screen. Although mostly based on the 1994 novel The Midnight Club by Christopher Pike, the series also contains elements from many other Pike books, featured in the "Midnight Club" tales themselves.

The series debuted on October 7, 2022. The show features a total of twelve 17–20 minute episodes in its first season. On January 18, 2023, it was announced a second season will be released on February 24, 2023.

High Water is a Polish historical drama TV series created by Jan Holoubek and based on Kasper Bajon's work. It was released on Netflix on 5 October 2022. The series is about the 1997 Central European flood and how it was managed by the authorities of Wrocław.
