Durgi (ದುರ್ಗಿ) is a 2004 Indian Kannada-language action film directed by P. Ravi Shankar who made his directorial debut. The film stars Malashri in the lead role. The film is about a female rowdy seeking revenge against politicians who raped and killed her sister. The film was officially remade in 2005 in Telugu as Narasimhudu starring Jr. NTR. In 2008, the film was dubbed in Hindi as Main Hoon Durga and in Malayalam as Bhasmasuran.

Plot

The movie starts with Jayadev aka J.D (Raghuvaran),a business tycoon is to get arrested by police with the help of his old friend cum business partner Marigudi (Kalabhavan Mani), a notorious goon, who is his rival now. Marigudi brilliantly uses M.L.A Chandrappa to witness against J.D in the exchange of money. J.D and his son kills the M.L.A by knowing from somewhere.
