Little Lise
Little Lise (French: La petite Lise) is a 1930 French drama film directed by Jean Grémillon and starring Nadia Sibirskaïa.
Plot
Victor Berthier is a good but very jealous man who ends up killing his wife. After serving a few years in prison, Berthier is released for good behavior. As a free man, he returns to Paris and expects to meet Lise, his daughter. But, to his surprise, Berthier finds that Lise, who's in love with a pimp named André, is accused of committing a murder.
