The Trouble with Grandpa
The Trouble with Grandpa is a 1981 American drama television special starring Elisha Cook Jr. and Meg Tilly. It was produced by Paulist Productions as a "Capital Cities Family Special" and broadcast in syndication as part of the religious-themed weekly anthology series Insight in March 1981.
Plot
The relationship between a 17-year-old girl named Dori (Meg Tilly) and her 75-year-old grandfather (Elisha Cook Jr.) living in a trailer by the sea. Together, they are two lonely people both dependent upon each other: he worries about her and she worries about him; he fears senility and she fears being left alone.
