Love Thy Neighbour is an Australian television comedy series which originally aired on the Seven Network between 9 April and 21 May 1979. It was produced as a sequel to the British series Love Thy Neighbour (1972–1976) featuring one of the major protagonists Eddie Booth (Jack Smethurst). While the earlier series had focused on Eddie Booth's rivalry with his black neighbour, the sequel focused on his relationship with a married couple he is boarding with, and fraught interactions with his Anglo-Australian next door neighbour, Jim Lawson, played by Russell Newman.
