NSU German History X is the American name for the 2016 German TV mini-series, Mitten in Deutschland: NSU. The 3-part series dramatizes the true events and characters of the National Socialist Underground, a neo-Nazi German terrorist group which was uncovered in November 2011. The name was changed for American audiences to imply a relationship to the 1998 American film American History X, however, there is no other direct relationship between the two.
