Materialists

Plot
Lucy, a failed actress turned successful matchmaker, works at Adore, a New York City-based firm. A voluntarily celibate "eternal bachelorette," Lucy maintains that she will either die alone or marry a wealthy man. Despite her professional success, Lucy grows frustrated with the increasingly unrealistic standards of her clients. Her long-term client, Sophie, is willing to lower her standards and settle but still has not had any matches progress to a second date. At the wedding of recently successful match, Lucy consoles the bride/former client, assuring her that her choice to pursue marriage is for good reasons.
