Donya is a 2003 Iranian movie directed by Manuchehr Mosayeri. It focuses on the relationship between a woman who has just returned to Iran from abroad and a conservative man.

Plot

Haj Enayat, a wealthy 60-year-old man, plans to sell his large, old house, but faces opposition from his wife. At his real estate agency, he meets Donya, a young woman recently returned from abroad, who expresses interest in buying the house. Enayat persuades her to temporarily move into one of the apartments he has built, in case the deal with another buyer falls through.
