Straw

Plot
Janiyah Wiltkinson is a single mother living in a run-down apartment with her frequently ill daughter, Aria. One morning, while bathing Aria and preparing her for school, Janiyah warns her not to touch her science project. Aria expresses frustration over being unable to bathe herself, and tells Janiyah that their teacher announced her mother couldn't afford her lunch. Janiyah is upset but tries to focus on getting to work.
