
Maang Bharo Sajana मांग भरो सजना
Maang Bharo Sajana (English: Marry Me Darling; Hindi: मांग भरो सजना) is a 1980 Bollywood drama film, produced by A. Purnachandra Rao under the Lakshmi Productions banner, and directed by Tatineni Rama Rao. The film stars Jeetendra, Moushumi Chatterjee, Kajal Kiran and Rekha in the lead roles, along with music composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. The film is a remake of the Telugu film Karthika Deepam (1979).
Plot
Chandru (Jeetendra), a young boy in college is the son of Ram (Jeetendra) and Sita (Moushumi Chatterjee). Chandru is in a relationship Geeta Sinha (Kajal Kiran), the daughter of Doctor Sinha (Om Shivpuri). Chandru promptly proposes for them to marry, which Geeta agrees to. When Doctor Sinha learns of the proposal, he immediately rejects it, and insults Chandru, calling him a “bastard” and further on. Following this, Ram confesses to an event long ago that when he was going through a bad phase in life, he had met Radha (Rekha), a prostitute whom he rescued from a drunkard. Both of them got very close to each other following the incident. Ram Kumar was married to Sita and then decided to hide this relationship from her, and continue with the affair. One day, Ram comes to find Radha has become pregnant. Ram then ends up in a predicament due to many issues now concurring in which he needs to come clean with.
